Itinerary
Arrive in Tokyo and check into your hotel. After some rest, take an evening stroll around Shinjuku or Shibuya to soak up the neon cityscape and grab your first taste of authentic ramen.
Visit the Meiji Shrine and Imperial Palace gardens in the morning, then head to Asakusa to see the Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise shopping street. End your day with panoramic views from Tokyo Skytree or Tokyo Tower.
Choose to explore more of Tokyo’s quirky districts like Harajuku and Akihabara, or take an optional day trip to Mount Fuji and Hakone for lakeside views and relaxing hot springs.
Board the bullet train (Shinkansen) to Kyoto. After check-in, start exploring the traditional Gion district and spot geisha in the evening along lantern-lit streets.
Discover Kyoto’s treasures: the golden Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryoan-ji’s rock garden, and Fushimi Inari’s iconic red torii gates. Experience a traditional tea ceremony for a taste of old Japan.
Head to Arashiyama to walk through the magical Bamboo Grove and see the Togetsukyo Bridge. Later, explore Nijo Castle and sample Kyoto’s matcha desserts at a cosy café.
